Adjustability
The GP stock incorporates the GEN4 butt hook. This allows multiple adjustment and so firmly anchors into your shoulder. Besides the hooks claws, the entire butt can be angled for optimum gunfit. The GEN4 is mounted to a movable carriage so that you can also dial in the perfect length-of-pull. This is important as many benchrest shooters prefer a longer-than-average LoP.
The cheekpiece is also adjustable in three dimensions. It can be altered for head height, angle and fore/aft position. This allows perfect scope alignment.
The forestock is also multi-adjustable and offers a long, wide support platform. Made from wood and dyed black, it’s been textured for non-slip support. It is fixed to an ARCA Swiss Type forend extension. Additionally, this incorporates a Picatinny accessory mount, for fitting components such as a bipod or rest.
All adjustments are easy to make using just standard hex tools.
Grip
The pistol grip is designed for right-hand use (only). Its anatomical design features a generously carved thumb muscle cutaway and finger scalloped. In addition to its ergonomic shape, the pistol grip is textured. This allows for a firm hold by your all important trigger hand. (A left-hand grip can be made to special order – please contact us for availability/price.)
Construction
The Red Wolf GP Grand Prix Stock is made exclusively for Daystate by PRS. It is precision-machined from aluminium which is then hard-anodized in either red or black. Regardless of colourway, the grip and forestock are made from wood, with a high-grip textured finish in black.
Fitting
The Daystate Red Wolf GP Stock is easy to fit to your Red Wolf. No specialist tools are needed – just standard hex keys. No specialist gunsmithing skill is required, so any good DIYer can do it. The stock is provided with all the necessary bolts to convert the Red Wolf from Sporter to GP configuration.

Performance Identity: Style With Purpose
The Daystate Red Wolf GP Stock establishes identity from the moment it is handled. Every contour demonstrates intent. Even slight variations in angle, taper, and radius contribute to both comfort and precision. Therefore, the stock’s exterior form is not decorative; it is strategic.
Additionally, weight distribution has been considered deeply. Although individual balance preferences vary, this stock seeks a midpoint that feels athletic rather than front-heavy or rear-biased. Because balance influences fatigue, the design contributes to longer sessions with fewer posture breakdowns and more stable follow-through.
Driving Factors Behind Its Shooting Advantage
Balanced Geometry
Balance begins with center-mass alignment. When the stock’s structural mass supports the rifle’s overall geometry, muzzle behavior becomes predictable. Breech alignment stabilizes, and breathing cycles feel easier to manage because the platform resists unnecessary drift.
Recoil and Impulse Management
Although recoil from a platform like the Daystate Red Wolf may not feel dramatic, there is still movement that impacts shot groups. Micro-movement matters at long range. The Daystate Red Wolf GP Stock assists through rigidity, contact placement, and energy distribution.
Sight Picture Stability
Sight stability often defines difference between a confident shot and a hopeful attempt. Because this stock reduces lateral inconsistency, shooters maintain visual control without forcing muscle tension or grip compensation.
Inclusive Shooting Experience
Inclusivity in product design requires acknowledgment that not all shooters share identical body mechanics. Consequently, the Daystate Red Wolf GP Stock uses angles, radius contours, and adaptable geometry to accommodate a wider range of physical needs. It respects height variation, shoulder shape differences, grip width preferences, and individual postural characteristics.
This approach welcomes people into the shooting community rather than creating barriers. Furthermore, it encourages emerging shooters to develop skill without discomfort or frustration.
Advanced Ergonomics, Shot Cycle Behavior & Practical Performance Integration
Engineering That Prioritizes the Entire Shot Cycle
Every rifle stock influences shot performance before, during, and after the trigger breaks. The Daystate Red Wolf GP Stock enhances each stage. Before the shot, its wrist geometry and forend structure support easier indexing. During the shot, energy distribution helps stabilize the system. After the shot, the return-to-sight picture feels calmer, enabling quicker decision cycles for competitors and enthusiasts.
Additionally, the shaping around the grip promotes relaxed hand tension. Reduced tension often translates into fewer pulled shots and smoother pressure staging on the trigger. Because of this, shooters experience progress without forcing mechanical correction.
How the Daystate Red Wolf GP Stock Improves Control
Control begins with posture. Posture influences connection. Connection regulates confidence. The Daystate Red Wolf GP Stock acknowledges this chain of performance and strengthens each link with structural precision. Although individual results vary, users regularly report improvements in consistency, reaction time, and fatigue management.
Control Benefits
-
Improved wrist angle supports neutral trigger finger engagement
-
Cheekpiece architecture assists in consistent eye alignment
-
Balanced weight distribution encourages reduced mid-shot sway
-
Forend contouring helps with bag, bipod, or rest integration
-
Grip geometry designed for stability, not force or pressure
What Competitors Notice Over Time
-
Reduced shot-to-shot compensation
-
Less visual correction after cycling the action
-
A cleaner relationship between natural point of aim and target lock
-
Comfort that rewards extended firing periods
Interestingly, these gains do not depend on advanced technique. Even developing shooters benefit immediately, and experienced users refine areas they previously struggled to control.
Greater Stability Across Shooting Disciplines
The Daystate Red Wolf GP Stock does not restrict itself to a single type of shooting. Instead, it supports several environments without compromise. Because of this, users who train in multiple disciplines do not need to switch between platforms as often.
Benchrest & Precision Distance
Benchrest requires predictability. Distance magnifies weaknesses. The Daystate Red Wolf GP Stock mitigates inconsistencies by stabilizing the rifle’s mass and maintaining alignment through micro-vibrations that ordinarily disrupt groups at range. Additionally, shooters gain a steadier follow-through window, which is critical for assessing shot placement and correcting ahead of the next trigger cycle.
Field Target & Position-Focused Shooting
Field target demands flexibility. Targets change height, angle, and distance. The Daystate Red Wolf GP Stock benefits this environment because posture adjustments feel easier. Although competitive demands fluctuate, the stock maintains structure and comfort even when positions shift from seated to kneeling or prone.
Sporting, Plinking & Recreational Use
Recreational shooting should feel rewarding. The Daystate Red Wolf GP Stock turns casual range time into a clearer, more controlled session. Instead of managing discomfort or fighting rifle balance, users experience a smoother relationship with the rifle’s rhythm.
Deep Dive: Ergonomic Architecture
Grip Contouring That Matches Human Mechanics
Human hands vary. Grip preferences differ. The Daystate Red Wolf GP Stock acknowledges this by offering a contour that neither forces extreme angles nor compromises leverage. Although simple to overlook, this ergonomic refinement influences trigger confidence and group uniformity.
Furthermore, by reducing pressure zones in the palm swell area, shooters experience reduced muscle fatigue. Consequently, trigger control benefits, especially during extended rounds.

Cheek Weld Geometry That Improves Visual Alignment
Cheek weld inconsistency creates unpredictable sight picture variation. Because alignment governs accuracy, this single point matters deeply. The Daystate Red Wolf GP Stock remedies this with a defined weld plane. Therefore, users achieve repeatable visual connection faster and maintain it without unconscious adjustment.
Alignment Results
-
Faster optic reacquisition
-
Reduced mid-shot visual disruption
-
Easier correction when dialing elevation or windage

Design Philosophy Behind Structural Laminate Strength
Laminate stocks provide advantages that composite or traditional hardwood cannot always match. Strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability anchor performance. Consequently, the Daystate Red Wolf GP Stock uses its laminate composition to resist twist, flex, and humidity-driven changes that undermine accuracy.
Why Laminate Matters
-
Multiple bonded layers create directional strength
-
Resistance to torque supports optic stability
-
Structural integrity reduces point-of-impact drift
-
Predictability helps users trust their rifle’s behavior
Even more importantly, laminate transmits energy efficiently without punishing the shoulder or cheek. Therefore, shooters feel connected to the rifle rather than reacting to it.
Transitioning from Other Stock Platforms
A stock change feels like a commitment. Shooters switching to the Daystate Red Wolf GP Stock from bulkier tactical stocks, heavier composite builds, or conventional wood designs often report immediate relief. Not because performance magically increases, but because mechanics stop interfering with fundamentals.
