AirForce Airguns has lightened up each of the rifles in the Texan line by about 20 percent and has increased the power with the addition of their new Carbon Fiber tank and TX2 valve. The standard, aluminum bottles’ maximum fill pressure tops out at 200 BAR (roughly 2900 psi,) the CF bottles’ 250-BAR (3626 psi) max fill pressure produce muzzle energies in excess of 700 fpe in the Texan and Texan LSS and up to 600 fpe in the Texan Carbine and SS models. So if you currently own .457 cal Texan model and want to increase the performance and reduce the overall weight, then this is all you will need!

This BRK Ghost Carbon Fibre Buddy Bottle is a carbon fibre wrapped alloy bottle. Supplied with internal valve. Rated to SWP of 250BAR.

The Ghost carbon fibre buddy bottle provides the lightest air tank choice. The carbon-fibre is wrapped around an cylinder. This design is not only strong, but ideal for reducing the weight of the rifle. Additionally, it helps to improve its balance… and looks great!

Note: This part is supplied with the internal valve pre-fitted.

Rated to SWP of 250BAR (3,625psi).

Capacity
The Ghost carbon fibre buddy bottle comes in a choice of either 300cc ,480cc or 580cc capacity. Maximum shot-count available from this buddy bottle will vary, and is dependent on actual model, caliber and power rating. Generally, greatest shot count is provided by bigger caliber running at lower power. The 580cc will provide more shots per fill than the 480cc (but is 84g / 3oz heavier).
