The Veyron series from Vector Optics consists of powerful riflescopes with many good features for a surprisingly good price/quality ratio!
The compact Vector Optics Veyron 3-12×44 rifle scope has a length of just 243mm but nevertheless offers a magnification of 3x to 12x.
Thanks to the 44mm wide objective lens, this rifle scope has a wide field of view and a large amount of light, resulting in a surprisingly clear image.
The Veyron is made of T6 aluminium alloy and the lenses are fully multi-coated to filter the incoming light and prevent glare.
The 30 mm tube is provided with a nitrogen filling that prevents the penetration of moisture and condensation.
This version of the Veyron has a detailed MPR-V10 reticle with MRAD markings for measuring and calculating corrections.
This etched reticle is placed on the second focal plane (SFP). This means that the reticle does not magnify along with an image.
However, the markings on the reticle have correct proportions at 10x.
This has the advantage that the reticle is always equally thick and clearly visible, even at lower magnifications.
Because of this, the reticle is perfectly suited with QD night vision optics.
For better contrast, the reticle can also be illuminated red with 6 different brightness settings.
The external turrets have a smooth but distinct click and go in 0.1MRAD steps (0.5cm at 50m, 1cm at 100m, etc.) with a maximum adjustment range of 17.5MRAD in elevation and windage.
These turrets are easy to lock and unlock by pushing or pulling them.
On the left side is the parallax adjustment. This allows the Veyron to focus at different distances, estimate rough distances and correct the parallax effect.
