The new “tacticool” iteration of the Taipan Veteran II Tactical AR 700mm rifle is aimed at customers who prefer a more modern and tactical look and want something a bit more unorthodox.
Taipan Veteran II Tactical AR 700mm comes outfitted with a 480 cc kevlar bottle for increased air volume. The free-floating barrel is fully shrouded and has an extended sound moderator. This can also be swapped for the shorter moderator, which comes with the Standard variant. Both moderators are interchangeable.
The AR-15 pistol grip gives this model great ergonomic properties and can be swapped for any commercial AR-15 grip. The synthetic buttstock features an adjustable rubber butt pad for increased comfort while taking aim and shooting.
The CZ Barrels come in two lengths, 550 mm or 700 mm.
In 2025, Taipan began producing an updated version of the Veteran II which includes several tweaks.
The modified version is newly equipped with the popular ADF (Anti Double Feed) system, which prevents loading a pellet into the barrel if there is already one inside. Additional changes apply to the side lever handle, which now offers a tactical look with a grooved surface. However, if you prefer the original one, you’ll find it in the package as well. The last tweak has involved the Kevlar cartridge (Tactical version only), which allows you to detach it under pressure without having to drain any air. This will be particularly appreciated by anyone who likes to carry spare cartridges on them.
