Although Taipan were more than happy with the reception and results the Taipan Veteran received, they didn’t want to rest on their laurels. As time moves on, so does technology and trends in the airgun world.
It’s now time to introduce the latest iteration of the Veteran – the Taipan Veteran II 550mm Grey Laminate. It’s so much more than just an upgraded version of the first-gen Veteran. Think of it as a completely new rifle, which builds upon the success of its predecessor and takes it even further.
In 2025, Taipan began producing an updated version of the Veteran II which includes several tweaks.
The modified version is newly equipped with the popular ADF (Anti Double Feed) system, which prevents loading a pellet into the barrel if there is already one inside. Additional changes apply to the side lever handle, which now offers a tactical look with a grooved surface. However, if you prefer the original one, it is also comes with this in the box.

This can also be swapped for the shorter moderator, which comes with the Standard variant. Both moderators are interchangeable.
The model comes with a full stock. The synthetic buttstock features an adjustable rubber butt pad for increased comfort while taking aim and shooting.

Now reborn through a collaboration between RAW (Rapid Air Weapons) and FORM Rifle Stocks, the Rapid Classic fuses American Manufacturing with British elegance to create a genuinely premium sub-12 ft/lb air rifle.
At its heart is the RAW HM/TM block, known for its high-performance pedigree in the US market, now tailored for the UK with a Lothar Walther choked barrel for accuracy that honours the Theoben legacy. And yes, it’s threaded — so silencers are welcome.
Gone is the frustrating old Theoben rail. In its place? A proper Picatinny rail. Thank the Americans for that one.
