Description
The Advanced PCP System of the Hatsan Jet II Pistol Carbine
The pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) system is the heart of the Hatsan Jet II. Unlike spring-piston or CO₂ airguns, the PCP system uses compressed air stored in a cylinder to propel pellets with minimal recoil. This innovation allows for consistent shot-to-shot performance, superior accuracy, and a smoother shooting experience
How the PCP System Works
At its core, the PCP system relies on a high-pressure air reservoir. When the trigger is pulled, a small valve opens, releasing a precise amount of compressed air behind the pellet. The resulting expansion propels the pellet through the rifled barrel at a consistent velocity.
-
Consistency: Each shot receives nearly identical air pressure, reducing velocity variation.
-
Low Recoil: Minimal movement allows shooters to maintain target focus.
-
Smooth Operation: The lack of mechanical spring stress results in quieter operation.
Consequently, the Hatsan Jet II delivers exceptional precision even in rapid follow-up shots. Shooters can enjoy a stable trajectory from the first pellet to the last.western airguns mordax
Hatsan Jet II PCP Pistol Carbine Air Cylinder Design and Efficiency
The air cylinder is a critical component for PCP airguns. Hatsan engineered the Jet II with efficiency in mind. The high-pressure cylinder holds sufficient air for multiple shots, making the gun ideal for both extended range sessions and field hunting.western airguns mordax
Hatsan Jet II PCP Pistol Carbine Key Advantages of the Cylinder
