Huben K1 Semi-automatic PCP Rifle
€1,600.00
The Huben K1 is a semi-automatic PCP rifle that is easy to adjust in power from 7.5 to 100 joules.
Manufactured post-2020, these K1 models are now fitted with a better regulator and an improved barrel that can easily shoot slugs.
The barrel is shrouded with a built in sound-moderator which us surprisingly effective at reducing the noise of the shot.
Thanks to the hammerless system, the K1 is a reliable airgun that has an extremely short lock time.
This ensures high consistency and accuracy for the precise shooter.
Hammerless system
In traditional PCP airguns, pulling the trigger releases a hammer which hits a valve to fire a shot.
The trigger of the Huben K1 in contrast, acts directly on the valve.
The valve is driven by a piston and is immediately opened by the pressure of the plenum when the trigger is pulled.
Because there is no hammer and spring assembly, there are fewer moving parts, less vibrations and greatly reduced lock-time (the time between pulling the trigger and the shot being fired).
Due to this hammerless design, the Huben is incredibly accurate, easy to adjust, efficient with air and very powerful!
Semi-automatic
The K1 is a semi-automatic rifle. This means that you can shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger.
After each shot, the K1 indexes the magazine automatically and is ready for a new shot.
Thanks to this, the K1 allows the shooter to remain focused for the next shot.
This also makes the K1 very popular for pest control. Allowing a quick follow-up shot when needed.
Adjustable power
The K1 is very easy to adjust thanks to the power wheel underneath the stock.
The power is adjustable from 7.5 joules all the way to 100 joules in 5.5mm/.22 (120 joules in 6.35mm/.25).
To offer the highest power possible, the regulator is easy to adjust thanks to the external hex screw.
Post 2020 producting
Huben K1 rifles produced after 2020 are fitted with an improved regulator and barrel.
This new barrel is not chocked and care shoot both pellets and slugs.

Huben K1 Semi-automatic PCP Rifle Safety, Control, and Ergonomics
Safety is the foundation of responsible shooting. For that reason, the Huben K1 was designed from the ground up to support safe handling, predictable operation, and confident use in a wide range of environments. Whether a shooter is a newcomer learning fundamentals or a seasoned marksman refining technique, the K1 encourages correct habits, reduces the chances of user error, and minimizes mechanical surprises. In practice, that means a combination of thoughtfully engineered mechanical safeties, a trigger system tuned for consistent feel, ergonomic features that promote proper shooting posture, and straightforward maintenance routines that preserve safe performance over time.Huben K1 Semi-automatic PCP Rifle
Below, the safety systems and user-control features are explained in detail. Each subsection explains what was engineered, why it matters, and how a shooter benefits. Practical tips and clear action items are included so readers can act on the guidance immediately.Huben K1 Semi-automatic PCP Rifle
Core Safety Systems
Modern air rifles demand modern safety systems. Huben implemented multiple layers of protection on the K1 so risk is reduced even before a human action is taken. First, mechanical safeties prevent an unintended trigger pull. Second, magazine and feeding safeguards ensure the semi-automatic feed cannot chamber another pellet when a critical condition exists. Third, pressure-monitoring design choices help prevent operation on dangerously low or irregular air supply. Together, these features make the rifle easier to manage while maximizing user confidence.Huben K1 Semi-automatic PCP Rifle
Mechanical Safety: Design and Operation
Mechanical safety is the first line of defense. Accordingly, the K1 includes a manual, positive-engagement safety that is intuitive to use and easy to verify at a glance.Huben K1 Semi-automatic PCP Rifle
-
Ambidextrous manual safety: Located immediately behind the trigger, the safety can be engaged or released from either side. This arrangement benefits both left- and right-handed users and reduces the need for hand reshaping during handling.
-
Positive engagement detents: The safety features a tactile “click” when moved into the safe or fire position. Because the detents are deliberate, accidental partial engagement is unlikely.
-
Visible safety indicator: A color-coded ring shows red for “fire” and white for “safe.” Consequently, a quick visual check confirms the rifle state without moving the head or significantly altering the shooting stance.
How to use it: always engage the safety when loading or when the rifle is not immediately needed. After shouldering the rifle and before firing, verify the target and surroundings, then consciously disengage the safety only when prepared to take the shot.Huben K1 Semi-automatic PCP Rifle
Huben K1 Semi-automatic PCP Rifle Feed and Magazine Safeguards
Semi-automatic feeding is convenient, but it must be controlled. To that end, the K1’s magazine and feed system contain features to avoid double feeds and to prevent the chambering of pellets under unsafe conditions.
-
Anti-double-feed mechanism: A mechanical stop prevents a second pellet from advancing if the previous pellet failed to seat properly. This reduces the risk of jams and the impulse to force-cycling.
-
Magazine-interlock switch: When the magazine is removed, the firing mechanism is automatically blocked. This prevents the rifle from being fired during magazine changes or while cleaning.
-
Indexing assurance: Positive magazine indexing ensures each pellet aligns with the barrel before it is fired, which avoids partial chambering and related safety concerns.Huben K1 Semi-automatic PCP Rifle
How to use it: carry spare magazines with care and change them only when the safety is engaged. During magazine insertion, confirm the magazine locks flush with the receiver; then re-check the safety and the chamber visually if possible.
Huben K1 Semi-automatic PCP Rifle Pressure and Regulator Safety
Because a PCP rifle depends on compressed air, pressure control is central to safe operation. The K1 combines a high-capacity cylinder with a precision regulator so shot-to-shot pressure consistency is achieved without exposing users to volatile pressure spikes.
-
Factory-set regulator: The on-board regulator delivers consistent pressure to the firing valve, which stabilizes pellet velocity across a long shot string.
-
Burst-safe valve geometry: The valve and porting geometry are designed to prevent excessive flow rates that could overstress components.
-
External pressure gauge: A durable, easy-to-read gauge shows the remaining cylinder pressure at a glance. A user never needs to rely on guesswork about air supply.
Operational guidance: always use a calibrated charging device rated for the rifle’s maximum fill pressure. Do not overfill; respect the stamped maximum working pressure on the cylinder. Before each shooting session, verify the gauge reading and confirm the regulator’s operational band (if the rifle has a regulator service indicator).
Trigger System and Control
The trigger is a primary interface between a shooter and the rifle. Therefore, Huben engineered the K1 trigger to be crisp, predictable, and adjustable so users can tune it to their skill and preference. When a trigger behaves reliably, shooter technique becomes the dominant factor in accuracy — and that is the goal.
Adjustable Two-Stage Trigger
A two-stage trigger gives shooters tactile information during the pull. Rather than an abrupt single movement, a two-stage design allows fine control as the shooter approaches firing.
-
First-stage take-up: The user feels a light, consistent take-up that readies the sear.
-
Second-stage release: The crisp break delivers predictable shot release, minimizing surprise.
-
Sear engagement geometry: Hardened sear surfaces resist wear and maintain a consistent feel over thousands of shots.
Adjustment options: the trigger’s pull weight is adjustable between roughly 0.5 kg to 1.5 kg (0.5–1.5 kg). Additionally, the travel length can be shortened for competitive setups or lengthened for hunting rigs where a safer feel is preferred.
Practical tip: begin with a moderate pull weight and practice dry-firing (with the rifle in a safe, unloaded state) to learn the tactile stages. Gradually back off the pull only when confident that the release is predictable and safe.
Trigger Safety and Sealing
To complement the mechanical safety, the trigger housing features protective design elements that reduce unintentional contact.
-
Raised trigger guard shape: The guard is shaped to protect against snagging and to allow gloved use without fallback on the trigger.
-
Integrated trigger block: When the magazine is removed or the external safety is engaged, the trigger travel is blocked at a mechanical stop.
How users benefit: these design choices help prevent accidental trigger pulls while also allowing rapid access when deliberately taking a shot.
Ergonomics: Stock, Balance, and Controls
Comfort influences accuracy. A shooter who is comfortable can consistently align sights, control breathing, and follow through — all essential to precision. Huben’s designers emphasized an ergonomic stock and well-placed controls so the K1 becomes an extension of the shooter.
Adjustable Stock Geometry
A one-size-fits-all stock seldom fits anyone perfectly. Thus, the K1 stock includes fully adjustable elements for length-of-pull, cheek-height, and butt-pad angle.
-
Length-of-pull spacers: Quick-change spacers let the shooter adapt the rifle for different body sizes or layering (clothing and jackets).
-
Adjustable cheek riser: A tool-less cheek riser adjustment aids consistent eye alignment with optics and reduces neck strain during long sessions.
-
Vertical butt-pad adjustment: Fine-tune shoulder fit by changing the pad height and cant; this improves recoil management and rapid follow-up accuracy.
Why it matters: proper stock fit reduces torque and unwanted movement during the shot, which leads to more repeatable shot placement.
Balance and Weight Distribution
Rifle balance affects how steady a shooter can hold the weapon and how the rifle behaves during recoil or follow-up shots. For the K1, weight was distributed to place the center of mass close to the shooter’s hands while still giving a solid fore-end.
-
Forward center of gravity: The design encourages natural pointing and reduces the effort to maintain sight alignment.
-
Modular fore-end options: Removable panels allow installation of accessory rails or weight inserts to tune balance for specific applications.
Practical advice: experiment with a light bipod for bench work and a compact monopod for field work. Balance tuning often yields bigger accuracy gains than minor barrel upgrades.
Control Placement and Intuitive Layout
Controls that are easy to reach while maintaining a proper firing grip help maintain accuracy in dynamic scenarios. The K1’s controls are intentionally placed to keep the firing hand in position and the support hand in a comfortable, controlled posture.
-
Magazine release placement: Positioned so that a magazine can be released without changing grip significantly.
-
Bolt/charging handle access: The handle is textured and located to enable rapid, controlled charging without breaking cheek weld.
-
Selector and power adjustment knobs: These are deliberately spaced to avoid accidental changes during handling while remaining quick to reach when needed.
Training suggestion: practice routine reloads and simulated malfunctions slowly at first, then increase speed as muscle memory improves. Proper control placement shortens the learning curve for fast, safe operation.
Recoil Management and Follow-Through
Although PCP rifles typically produce less recoil than firearm cartridges, semi-automatic cycling, pellet energy, and stock fit still combine to produce impulse. The K1 reduces felt recoil and aids follow-through so shooters can keep the sights on target and perform rapid, accurate successive shots.
Recoil-Attenuation Features
Recoil was approached as a systems problem. Aspects of the action, stock, and barrel were harmonized so the impulse is clean and minimal.
-
Internal recoil buffers: Polymer buffers absorb kinetic energy from moving internal parts.
-
Optimized bolt mass: The bolt cycles with controlled mass to minimize rearward impulse.
-
Butt-pad damping material: A multi-density pad reduces initial sharpness and spreads force over the shoulder.
How this helps: less disruptive recoil keeps the sight picture stable, which is especially valuable in semi-automatic engagements where quick follow-ups matter.
Follow-Through and Sight Picture Retention
Consistent follow-through is the shooting habit that converts promising shots into perfect shots. Huben designed the K1 so that once a shot breaks, the shooter’s view remains usable for immediate correction and additional shots.
-
Low vibration barrel mounting: The barrel sits in vibration-minimizing mounts so the muzzle returns quickly to the pre-shot orientation.
-
Solid cheek weld surfaces: The stock’s cheek weld area helps the eye return rapidly to the optic’s reticle.
-
Accessible sling points: Proper sling use reduces muscle fatigue and stabilizes follow-through on extended walks or static sessions.
Practice note: follow-through drills are best done with realistic rest positions and timed strings to train the body to maintain a stable position through the shot.
Field Safety Checklist and Best Practices
A simple checklist improves safety dramatically. The K1 was designed to be straightforward to inspect and maintain, and the following checks should be part of every session.
Pre-Use Checklist (Before Leaving Home)
