    Adjustability

    Like the many other compressed air rifles from FX, the Crown MK2 is highly adjustable and modular in design.

    Thanks to the power wheel, the hammer spring is very easy to adjust for both macro and micro adjustment.
    In combination with the externally adjustable AMP regulator, this makes the rifle very adjustable for the utmost precision.

    Just like the power wheel, the adjustment knob is also located on the left side to restrict the air flow.
    This allows you to adjust the force in large steps.
    This is ideal when you convert the rifle to a different caliber.

    The FX Match Trekker is already very light and pleasant to use from the supplied gun case.
    But if desired, the tractor can be adjusted in length and weight for both the first and second stages.

     

     

    Modularity

    The Crown is equipped with the Superlight STX (Smooth Twist X).
    This barrel contains a liner, which can be exchanged for a different twist rate and other ammunition types.

    The pulls and fields are pressed into the liner from the outside.

    This result of this low friction barrel and the precisely controlled tolerances deliver the utmost precision that FX is known for.

    Thanks to the barrel system, the Crown can even change caliber with a barrel kit!

    Whilst complementing its Delta Wolf bullpup sibling, Alpha Wolf’s individuality is immediately obvious courtesy of a beautifully sculpted stock with extended forend lip and new-look Picatinny optic rail – still movable fore-and-aft to cater for any day and NV scope configuration – that is fitted with an anti-cant bubble.

These compute without the need of any integral chronograph, making the Alpha Wolf Smart model much easier to operate.     Of course, an Alpha Wolf Smart is still, well… smart! At its core, it retains the fabled Alpha Wolf computerised action that’s programmed to deliver the incredible performance this groundbreaking electronic PCP air rifle is known for. But with the less complicated, ‘lite’ electronics platform of the Alpha Wolf Smart, the shooter can simply ‘set and forget’… and then just concentrate on getting on with their shooting!

    Daystate understands better than any other airgun company that, to stay relevant, progress must be ongoing, new ideas investigated and pursued. That’s why, for 50 years, Daystate has been in a state of constant development, making major leaps forward in airgun technology. In fact, many features found on other airgunmakers’ rifles were pioneered by Daystate.

    In its UK 12 ft/lbs format, the compact and handy Black Wolf measures just 980mm and weighs as little as 2.9kg (according to stock type). Balance, as you might expect balance is perfect and the rifle points almost instinctively.

    As much as the Blackwolf has to offer 12 ft/lbs shooters in .177 and .22, it’s the higher-powered versions are where the performance part of the package really comes into play. The Blackwolf features the largest regulator chamber ever fitted to a Daystate PCP. Also, its 20-level power wheel operates a progressive shaft, allowing you to gear hammer spring-tension to exactly what’s needed.

    Another fantastic feature is the ability to change caliber and barrel lengths in minutes – a feature Daystate initially developed on its Delta Wolf. Four barrel calibers, plus the ability to adjust power levels truly makes the concept of ‘multiple rifles in one’ a reality.

    In addition to the barrel,  hammer springs, spring tension and regulator pressure can all be changed on-the-fly. This lets you tune the rifle to a specific power and projectile combination if you wish. Note the word ‘projectile’. Yes, Blackwolf has been designed to also take our 711mm SLUG barrel!

    Black Wolf is a gun platform, and follows the company’s modular design philosophy. So, many components are interchangeable. In fact, all stocks, barrels, air bottles and air cylinders are available separately, making it possible to change and upgrade Blackwolf as and when your shooting needs change.
